Prakash Lasrado is right: Yoga is not Intellectual Copyrighted

“Fr. Joe Pereira is informed that I would happily welcome a legal case against me/this ministry so that the entire matter of the Hinduisation of the Catholic Church in India in the guise of inculturation and adaptation would get national and international exposure.
He has placed on record that he has written about me to the Prime Minister’s Office and to the Vatican.
[The 2008 St Pauls New Community Bible was pulled and heavily revised by the Indian Bishops’ Conference after a crusade started by this ministry attracted many Catholics across the nation to join in and drew the attention of the national and international media, finally reaching Rome. (That is only one example.)]
If the PMO or the Vatican come in (I suspect that that is the last thing that the Indian Church would want to happen), the Cardinals and bishops of the Catholic Bishops Conference of India would then have to clearly articulate their position on many, many issues including yoga which the faithful have been cautioned about in Church Documents, by theological commissions, by eminent Catholics (clergymen and laity), etc.
They would also have to answer questions on a number of issues that this writer will raise in court, including that of stealing the intellectual property rights of the Hindu religion, their rites, symbols and philosophies; and there are already a great many Hindus who do not like that one bit, some believing it to be a ploy for converting Hindus (which it is not).“
Prakash Lasrado responded with these two among many other emails on the same subject to the usual long list of Bishops and priests:

Prakash Lasrado has “educated” me that yoga cannot come under Intellectual Property Rights.
I did not anywhere say that it could or would. If it was under IPR or could be brought under it, I would have provided the reader with documentation long before now. All I said was that I would use the opportunity in case I had to appear in court courtesy Fr. Joe Pereira to bring up the issue, and you can bet that many Hindus will welcome that.
The recent reports of increasing communal unrest and new types of pogroms against those who appear to threaten their culture and religious traditions by Hindu fundamentalists is a good indication of that trend.
When he saw my above November 6, 2016 report on the ephesians511 blog (NOT mine! Why would I take over FOUR MONTHS to put it on the blog if it were mine?), he again tried to instigate yoga guru Fr. Joe Pereira through these two emails:

This was a report of January 12, 2017, again taking TWO MONTHS to make it to the ephesians511 blog!
It was in connection with a recent government decision on Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) that receive foreign funding. Fr. Pereira’s NGO is KRIPA Foundation! It makes big money.
There was, this time around, not a peep out of Fr. Joe Pereira seeing as how he threatened me the first time.

Justin Sequeira is apparently a priest; I have never heard of him till this letter was received from Lasrado.
He definitely doesn’t appreciate Lasrado’s “unkind and unChristian comments” about me.
This is not the first person who asked Lasrado to unsubscribe him from the diarrhoeal emailing (Fr. Justin got TWO responses from Lasrado within a space of FOUR minutes: Sat, Jan 7, 2017 at 10:06 AM and Sat, 7 Jan 2017 10:10:07 +0530. Usually people are made to endure a string of letters before being delisted, and this is observed by all the other recipients in his extensive CC).
Earlier there were other priests too who demanded to be removed. Not a one of them was a “friend” of mine.
Lasrado is the same person who wrote to the Bombay Cardinal:

I was inclined towards religion right from childhood but it is good that I did not become a priest since I am not a person of good character.
He often complains that I ‘truncate’ his emails when reproducing them in my reports. Can anyone blame me?
The other day, the owner of the ephesians511 blog called me. He informed me that his blog has received nearly 400,000 hits since its inception (3 years? I don’t know).
I propose later this year to co-host the blog so that there is no time lag between the reports being hosted on my web site and those going up on the blog. The key word there is “reports”. The present blog owner has only been putting up matter from my web site’s “REPORTS” section. Whereas there are literally HUNDREDS of other files that are going up on my web site at the rough average of three a day! On New Age, Catholic Apologetics, Vatican Documents, Testimonies, Islam and other cults, and Catholic Issues in general.
They never see the light of day on the ephesians511 blog. I need to do something about that. It would keep Lasrado occupied all day and give him a diversity of new subjects to react to and “rebut”.
Incidentally, Lasrado had started a blog directed against my web site and my writings but it apparently died a very premature death. We do not hear about it anymore. A friend who checked it out said that there were no comments at all on it. At least the ephesians511 blog keeps Lasrado (and about 400,000 others) occupied.
Last week, the Abbot of a cloistered Trappist monastery, the Abbey of the Genesee in New York State informed someone, a friend who in turn informed me, that he accesses my web site.
I published a report on Mumbai New Ager Evelet Sequeira on January 5.

Two days ago she called me to protest, futilely. Maybe Lasrado can now include her on his mailing list as he has done with Fr. Joe Pereira and others. I almost always provide the contact details of those reported on.
